Born in Durango, Mexico, DJ Jesus began his career after taking inspiration from his father who also Dj’d at a nightclub. Starting on vinyls and learning by ear, Jesus has climbed the DJ ladder and has performed at a variety of events including: nightclubs, bars, weddings, sweet-sixteens, hip-hop shows, car shows, casino, schools and malls.

He specializes in nightclubs and weddings, as he loves to put on exciting an vibrant performances. Some of his notable events include: a live concert for “La Rockola 96.7” at the Yost Theater in Santa Ana, CA., Inferno Nightclub inside the Edgewater Casino in Lauglin, NV, and a Fashion Show for “Forever 21”.

A Dj for over 12 years, some of  Jesus‘s main influences are: MixMasterMike, DJ Jazzy Jeff, and Joe Hahn. A natural at reading crowds, Shaggy can mix just the right combination of music for everybody in any situation.

Shaggy believes that a good DJ “speaks with his hands.” His strong work ethic and dedication to his craft make him one of the most professional and hardworking DJs out there!
