I’m Andrew Basa aka DJ D23W(Drew). I am in my early 40’s and I am an active duty military of 22 years (Navy). I was about 10 years old when I first started mixing music with cassette tapes. I became very passionate about the art of mixing. I started to learn mixing music using turntables(12 inch and 45’s records) and progessively to CD’s, MP3’s and now trying out the many different DJ gear that new technology has to offer. I am familiar with past and present audio gear and most of the new lighting equipment available. I have knowledge of the different genre of music; from today’s hits to as early as the 1900’s and classical music. I believe Music is a Universal language and as a DJ, I enjoy delivering any genre of music to entertain clients.
